Susan Hampshire House is a CQC registered care home located in the heart of Yate, close to the town centre shops and bus routes. We offer residential and respite care and also provide a day service.
The home has a number of ground floor bedrooms and a lift to the first floor for easy access for individuals with mobility or other needs. There are en-suite facilities in most rooms over the two floors. There are a number of communal areas where people can socialise in larger or smaller groups. There is also a small training kitchen where people can learn skills undisturbed if required.
The respite service can be separated from the residential home but quite often we find that individuals want to join everyone else and the activities taking place. This has led to a number of people wanting to move to Susan Hampshire House as their first home.
Our well trained, friendly team work hard to ensure a person centred approach for each service user.
We maximise the use of the local community facilities and have created excellent relationships with local businesses. Our aim is to provide a service which is created around the individual and for the individual ensuring a good quality of life.
